“6 months ago, I fired my devs. Tired of delays and bills. Zero coding skills, but with Lovable, I built 80% of my AI platform. Then pushed further with Cursor and Claude Code. Now I ship features solo.”

Zohar Vanunu (founder) on X, Jul 29, 2025

Editor's note: Zohar Vanunu says he has zero coding skills. In July 2025 he wrote that six months earlier he had fired his developers, "tired of delays and bills", and built 80% of Kolbo with Lovable before moving on to Cursor and Claude Code; so developers did work on an earlier version, and he says AI tools built most of the product after that. In December 2025 he wrote that it all started with a win in Lovable's vibe coding competition, and announced the official launch at "$100K ARR. 4,000+ users. Zero marketing budget." His X bio says he is the founder of Kolbo and links kolbo.ai, and TrustMRR links the listing to the same account. The quote is lightly cleaned up from his X post of Jul 29, 2025.

How they got customers

Steps to try

  1. Solve your own annoyance: he was tired of switching between separate AI tools and losing context.

  2. Build most of the product yourself with Lovable, then move to Cursor and Claude Code as it grows.

  3. Put many AI models behind one subscription and one project workspace.

  4. Ship features solo instead of waiting on a dev team.

  5. Growth can come late: revenue roughly quadrupled between November 2025 and September 2026, and the Stripe data shows it.
