“I run it with zero employees — just me and a team of AI agents handling onboarding, support, operations, and much of the code. We launched in August. Since then, 400+ SaaS founders have signed up, we've processed 1,400+ live payments, and we're at $9.5K MRR.”

Editor's note: The founder is an engineer with about 20 years in payments, not a beginner. He says he runs AgentaOS with zero employees: a team of AI agents handles onboarding, support, operations and much of the code. On X he names Claude as his 'Chief of Staff' and says his AI team runs through his own Claude Code plugin, which he also sells. AgentaOS is run by Aristokrates OÜ in Tallinn, Estonia.

How they got customers

No ads or paid marketing. The founder writes about payment problems rather than the product, then follows up in DMs with everyone who engages, and onboards founders personally.

Steps to try

  1. Talk to many potential customers before you build; his first version, built on technology he liked, made no revenue.

  2. Write about the problem first, not the product, and follow up personally with people who engage.

  3. Charge from day one and tie your revenue to your users' success (here, a percentage of their sales).

  4. Let AI agents take onboarding, support, operations and much of the coding so one person can run the business.

  5. When the product moves other people's money, keep a human review step on payment and ledger code even if agents write it.
