Quick answers

How does the revenue calculator work?

It filters the public cases on Shipped & Paid by the AI tool and app type you pick and shows the median and range of the monthly revenue those founders state, plus how many cases that is and how many are verified through the payment provider.

Is this a prediction of what my app will make?

No. These are public examples of AI-built apps that already make money, so the sample is biased toward winners: most apps that make little or nothing never post their numbers. Use it to see what is possible and how the proof looks, not as a forecast.

Which revenue figures count?

Only figures stated per month in US dollars: MRR, revenue in the last 30 (or 28) days, or revenue in a stated month. All-time totals, annual figures and other or unstated currencies are listed as cases but never converted or estimated, so they do not count toward the median.

Why do some combinations show no median?

A median from one or two apps would mislead, so we only show one when at least 3 matching cases give a monthly US dollar figure. Below that the calculator says so and shows the tool and the app type on their own instead.

How often is the data updated?

Every time we add a case, usually several a day. The calculator reads the same data as the case pages.

Can I use these numbers in an article or post?

Yes, the data is CC BY 4.0. Use the share link or the embed snippet under the result: it links back to this calculator with your selection, so readers can check the cases behind the number.
