A small pixel cat that lives on your Mac or Windows desktop: it kneads while you type, follows your mouse, reminds you to stretch, runs a Pomodoro timer and reacts when AI coding agents like Claude Code finish a task.
$4,551.99 in its launch monthJune 2026, from $3.90 one-time licenses, about 1,700 buyers by September; dashboard shown on Showcase Me, Sep 30, 2026, as claimed

“Instead of another serious productivity app, I made a tiny pixel cat that lives on your desktop.”
Editor's note: Simon is a product designer from Korea, not a beginner: he studied visual design at Seoul National University, has done product design at BEPRO for about 11 years, and has coded websites since about 2014. He says he started building his own products by vibe coding with AI in early 2025 and used Claude Code and Codex to develop Comnyang, about 4–5 days of focused work. Neither AI could draw the SVG cat animations he wanted, so he drew them himself in Figma and built his own pattern-mapping tool. The quote is from his Reddit post in r/SideProject three days after launch. The revenue figure comes from his interview and the dashboard screenshot in it, not a live payment integration.
How they got customers
Before the app was finished he posted a short typing-demo video on Threads (about 9,600 views, 349 likes, 85 comments), then put up a landing page with a launch-alert form that collected 186 emails. The first sale came from that list before the official launch post. After that: short videos on Threads, TikTok and X with no paid ads, a Reddit post comparing the cat with his reading app (he says about 268K views and 1.5K upvotes), and an unprompted Instagram post by an Indian tech creator that drove the biggest jump. A giveaway of 20 licenses with an Indonesian creator got far more likes but, he says, didn't move sales much.
Steps to try
Notice that a Claude character reacting to Claude Code sessions (the clawd-on-desk project) is fun, and decide to sell design instead of features.
