“My name is Sam. I vibe coded my first SaaS six months ago called Algrow and I've gained over 10,000 users and made over $14,000 in revenue in the last 30 days.”
Editor's note: Sam is a university student with no coding background: he says he first built by copying code back and forth between ChatGPT and Notepad, then VS Code, until a friend told him to use Cursor; he is now on the $200 a month Cursor plan. In an Apr 29, 2026 X post he says he has since moved to Zed with Claude Code. The figure we use is the one on the Stripe screen (in GBP); his $14,000 is his own conversion. The video's cold open also has him saying 'last month, I did over $40,000 in revenue' without naming the business; he runs a second SaaS, so we did not use that number. We found no TrustMRR listing for Algrow.
How they got customers
Discord first: he joined small communities of YouTube creators, muted his mic and shared his screen to demo the tool live, and got his first 400 users that way. Members told their friends, and he kept posting in the same communities as he shipped updates.

From the sourceShip the MVP even if it is broken, and demo it live: mute your mic, share your screen and show the tool working on real channels.
From the sourceBuild with AI from zero: start by pasting code between ChatGPT and an editor, then move to Cursor once the project grows.
From the sourcePrice in simple tiers (25, 45 and 80 a month) and let the free demos in communities feed sign-ups.
From the sourceKeep posting updates in the same communities so members bring their friends.
From the sourceCheck your Stripe figure in its own currency before quoting it in another; FX can move a headline number by 30%.
